Lamongan - Berawal dari 'sambat' warganya, desa di Lamongan ini menyediakan akses internet gratis untuk pelajar. Tak hanya satu lokasi, desa ini menyediakan 12 titik akses internet di seluruh desa bagi pelajar yang tengah mengikuti proses belajar daring.
Desa di Lamongan yang menyediakan akses internet gratis ini adalah Desa Bakalanpule, Kecamatan Tikung. Di desa ini, setidaknya ada 12 titik hotspot internet yang disediakan untuk warganya.
"Jadi awalnya itu 'kan ada beberapa warga yang anaknya sekolah secara daring ini mengeluhkan paketan internet untuk belajar daring," kata Kepala Desa Bakalanpule Muhammad Zamroni saat berbincang dengan wartawan, Selasa (28/7/2020).
Belajar dengan memanfaatkan jaringan internet, menurut Zamroni, memunculkan masalah tersendiri bagi anak-anak yang tinggal di desanya yang jarang jaringan internet. Banyak warga yang mayoritas adalah petani, lanjut Zamroni, 'sambat' karena harus membelikan anak-anak mereka paket internet untuk kegiatan belajar secara daring.
"Kondisi ini tentu menjadi kendala bagi anak-anak di desa kami untuk bisa mengikuti pelajaran sekolah," ujarnya.
Dari 'sambatan' warga ini, lanjut Zamroni, ia bersama perangkat desa setempat kemudian mengambil inisiatif untuk membuat sejumlah titik akses internet di desa mereka. Tak hanya 1 titik, Desa Bakalanpule membuat hotspot internet di 12 titik yang tersebar di seluruh desa untuk memudahkan pelajar desa mereka belajar daring.
"Kita ada 12 hotspot yang tersebar di Desa Bakalanpule tapi yang terbesar itu di balai desa ini," terang Zamroni.
Pembuatan hotspot internet ini, aku Zamroni, dilakukan pemerintah desa agar anak-anak desa mereka yang biasanya kesulitan untuk belajar daring karena paket data bisa terus belajar. Setiap pagi, kata Zamroni, anak-anak sekolah mulai berkumpul di balai desa atau tempat-tempat yang memiliki akses internet melalui Wifi yang disediakan oleh desa.
"Bagi anak-anak yang tidak memiliki HP, perangkat desa juga meminjamkan HP mereka sebagai sarana belajar," terang Zamroni seraya berharap agar ada solusi dari pemerintah bagi siswa-siswi yang memiliki kendala sarana untuk mengikuti sekolah daring ini.

Salah satu pelajar yang mengikuti kegiatan belajar di Balai Desa Bakalanpule ini, Arifatul Fadilah mengatakan, ia bersama teman-temannya memang sengaja datang di balai desa untuk belajar secara daring dengan memandu akses internet gratis dari desa.
"Karena untuk beli paketan juga ndak ada makanya saya mencari fasilitas wi-fi. Untuk beli paket internet juga masih meminta orang tua, makanya agar tidak semakin membebani orangtua saya ke balai desa sini," akunya.
Sementara, Pusat Komunitas Kreatif (Puskom) Lamongan juga mengambil langkah nyata untuk membantu pelajar yang terkendala sarana untuk mengikuti sekolah dari rumah dengan menyediakan wifi gratis.
"Adik-adik pelajar bisa datang dengan membawa handphone. Syaratnya harus bawa masker, kemudian jaga jarak saat belajar. Kami juga menyediakan komputer bagi siswa yang tidak memiliki handphone," kata Kepala Dinas Kominfo Lamongan, Achmad Edwyn Anedi.
Seperti diketahui, pandemi COVID-19 membuat proses Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) dilakukan secara daring atau sekolah dari rumah, tak terkecuali di Lamongan. Namun penerapan sekolah dari rumah tidak sepenuhnya berjalan mulus karena tidak sedikit pelajar yang terkendala sarana untuk mengikuti pembelajaran secara daring, seperti kuota internet maupun tidak memiliki handphone.
